Structure and Accessibility
This website and associated registered domain
name (www.ccweek.org.uk) are owned and maintained on behalf of
Canzonetta Courses who operate Cranleigh Choral Week. |
|
| |
 The
website conforms to the CSS Level 2 and HTML v4.01 standards as defined
by the W3 Consortium which
develops and establishes the standards and guidelines for effective
website interoperability across
all platforms on the World Wide Web. It also makes some use
of Javascript for certain features to do with image handling. To
make best use of this website, the user should ensure that Javascript
is enabled. No frames, Flash, cookies or web beacons are used.
Most
downloadable files are in PDF format and
thus require use of Adobe’s Acrobat Reader which
can be obtained by visiting the Adobe website. Downloading
and using Acrobat Reader is free of charge.
The font type used is Verdana and all font sizes are defined and
set 'relative' to the web browser's default. The user may,
therefore, adjust the font
size by using the tools made available through the web browser
being used. For example, in Windows
Internet Explorer this is done
by select the View tab and then the Text Size option. The
exceptions to this are (a) the menu buttons in the left hand column
and (b) the quotes in the right hand column from previous
participants on the course. Both of these are images which
are non-scalable.
